Welcome to SouthPoint's 2019 Fall Retreat!

Let’s be in prayer together as we prepare for some fresh air and fun times in Idyllwild, CA Friday, September 20th through Sunday, September 22nd! We have relaxed activities planned for the weekend and will hold a live-stream event of our Sunday morning service at 9:30am from camp.

Check-in: Check-in opens at 4pm on Friday and check-out closes at 1pm on Sunday. See the full SCHEDULE.

Arrival: If you arrive between 4-7pm, make your way to Morris Auditorium and Lounge, where SouthPoint leaders will assist you with check-in, give you your keys and weekend schedule, and direct you to your room. If you arrive after the first session begins at 7:00pm please message Beth Stauffer via SLACK or at (619) 616-6262 and she will come out to meet you.

Accommodations: The motel-style lodges at Tahquitz Pines include a queen bed, upper and lower bunks, and a twin rollaway. Pillows, linens, and towels are provided.

Communication: We will be using the messaging app SLACK to communicate as a group throughout the retreat. If you are on SLACK you’ll be automatically added to the Fall Retreat Group. If you need to join SLACK, please email hello@southpointsd.com and we will get you all set up for the weekend!

Recommended Packing List:

  • Layered clothing for cool mornings and warm afternoons

  • Sweatshirt and a light jacket

  • Non-perishable snacks

  • Perishable snacks [there is a common refrigerator in Morris Meeting Hall for us to share]

  • Sunglasses

  • Closed-toed shoes/boots for walking/hiking

  • Water bottle

  • Flashlight

  • Bible, notebook, and pens

  • Free-Time items such has baseballs, footballs, board games, etc.

  • Mosquito repellent
